The Gospel of John is an amazing account of the life of Jesus taken from the book of John in the Good News Bible translation. This movie brings this gospel alive. I have read the book of John many times but as I watched this movie and read along, I gained a far deeper understanding than I did before by just reading the words. In this movie, I saw the Jesus I found in the text of the gospels, a loving and truthful man. Henry Ian Cusick provided an excellent portrayed of Jesus. I appreciate the makers of this movie keeping to the verse-by-verse account. Having this account allows the watcher to follow the words and the visuals from the movie causing the words to leap off the written page and come to life.
Here at the Movie Rental Review, we strongly recommend this movie to anyone who wished to see and experience the account of The Gospel of John.
