Hitch is a great romance comedy about the “Date Doctor” who ends up taking his own medicine. Alex Hitchens (Will Smith) has made a career out of helping guys who would never have had a chance to talk to the women of their dreams never mind actually dating them. He possesses a give to watch and listen to a women for signs, something most of us men wish we had. With this insight, he is able to provide his clients with confidence and a plan of action. Hitch recruits a new client Albert (Kevin James), who is a heavy set clumsy accountant. Albert is in love with a celebrity named Allegra Cole (Amber Valletta), who does not know that he is alive and without help of the date doctor, she would have never known. While Hitch is working on Albert’s confidence problem, in comes a gossip columnist Sara (Eva Mendes) who captivates Hitch in a way that he has never experienced. He is so captivated with her that he starts being the clumsy not knowing what to say person, that he has been helping all a long. When Sara misunderstands what Hitch actually does, she lets the cat out of the bag that forces Hitch to lay his cards on the table.
The Movie Rental Review found this movie to be heart warming and funny. Love is a very hard thing to fall into because you deeply expose yourself but nothing worth having is without risk.
