Sky High is about a mother and father who are super heroes and they are hoping that their teen-age son will become a super hero also.
The father of this super hero family is Commander (Kurt Russell) and the mother goes by Jetstream (Kelly Preston), their son Will Stronghold (Michael Angarano) is the 14-year old teen-age son. The parents are well renowned in the super hero biz, saving the world daily. Will is ready for high school (or should I say super hero high school) and will be starting this new high school with is best friend Layla (Danielle Panabaker) who is gifted with controlling plant life. Since Will has not gotten his super power yet, he and his best friend are classed as “side-kicks”. At school, he realizes his super power and hooks up with a senior, the girl of his dreams, Gwen Grayson (Mary Elizabeth Winstead).
The Movie Rental Review thought this was a great movie, full of eye-catching effects and interesting characters. It was a true Disney classic movie.
